“The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago.
The second-best time is now.”
– Chinese Proverb

If you are on this page, it is more than likely that you or someone you know have at one time or another, experienced the sensation of being short of breath due to respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease or both. Shortness of breath (SOB), also known as dyspnea (pronounced disp-nee-uh) or air hunger, can be all encompassing and has the potential to undermine every aspect of your life, from the magnificent to the mundane.

Our Mission

The Pulmonary Wellness Foundation has always aspired to setting new standards in healthcare, where community education and lifestyle changes are the driving force behind living well despite one’s respiratory disease.

The Foundation was founded in 2014 with the objective of coupling excellence in respiratory care and pulmonary rehabilitation with educational material of the highest caliber.

Through your support of our clinical research efforts, educational offerings, and online pulmonary rehabilitation program (Bootcamp), the Foundation has touched the lives of thousands of people with a variety of prevalent, rare, and ultra-rare pulmonary diseases, delivered free of charge to patients, their caregivers, and clinicians worldwide.
